We’re looking forward to welcoming you back at the Arts Centre. We’ll be open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am – 4pm but we’ll be looking to extend the hours and days we’re open.
You’ll have the same warm welcome but with social distancing and extra cleaning in place to keep you, our staff and volunteers safe. We’re limiting numbers to 4 at one time (but if you’re one family group we can be flexible just ask before you come in).
We are lucky to have a lovely light, airy space and a beautiful garden for you to enjoy. Whilst you’re here come and bring a picnic and enjoy our refurbished pond area.
You’ll see other changes too. For now, the ethnic and gift shop are separate so we have two entrances to allow for one-way systems and reducing ‘pinch points’. If it’s raining we’ve got a new entrance area to keep you dry and comfy.
We’re looking at restarting a very limited range of workshops outside in our marquee this summer so please check our website/social media pages for details over the coming weeks. Our tea room remains closed for now but we hope to be able to open late July/early August.
We’ve just launched our new website and our online shop will be open soon. Please continue to support us – as a community arts centre we need your help to keep going and get through these difficult times.
Like many of us you’re probably feeling a bit concerned as we come out of lockdown. Be assured we’ll do everything we can to help so if you want us to bring art to your car we can offer ‘drive-in’ collections if you buy online.
Beautiful face coverings will be available from inside – We’re asking for a minimum of £5 each for Deb’s masks which covers the artist’s costs and time, if you can give more, the extra £s are being donated to the Ely Foodbank (Trussell Trust).
We’re also pleased to offer face coverings from Stitch Witch, again a minimum of £5 is requested – 100% of these proceeds go to the Trussell Trust.
