Haddenham & Aldreth Parish Plan is born! During last summer a questionnaire was distributed throughout Haddenham and Aldreth asking for feedback on what residents thought about the villages, what they liked, what they thought could be improved and how they thought they should be developed over the next 5 years. A total of 618 questionnaires were completed and all of the responses and comments have been collated into a detailed action plan of important tasks that the people of Haddenham and Aldreth would like to see as the focus of work in the Parish over the next five years. Haddenham Parish Council adopted the Plan at their meeting of 16 January 2008 and the Parish Plan steering group committed itself to a programme of regular monitoring and feedback in order to make sure that those things that everyone thought the most important, will be done over the next few years. Every time one of the actions is achieved the plan will be updated and the revised action plan posted on the Haddenham website, www.haddenham.org.uk. so that anyone can monitor progress. For anyone who is interested in reading further all of the comments that were collected, the survey and the summary statistics are also on the website. Many of the actions are already being spearheaded by individuals in the Parish, confident that there is backing for success from the hundreds of Parishioners that took part in the process.
